This is odd, from my perspective, so I thought I'd toss it out for comment. I am running 195/50/15, Hankook, Ventus V2 Concept tires, on Rota Slipstream wheels. Had the balance checked at 10K and they were fine, all zeros. Had them checked again, yesterday at 25K and they are still fine, all zeros. I have never had this happen before, so is it unusual or not? Jim
Unless something was done to change the balance (lose a wheel weight, flat-spot the tires), I don't see this as unusual. While I've had the odd tire "go out of balance" on me, generally once balanced, they've stayed balanced.
Yup that sounds right. It also means your tire tech knows how to install the weights correctly. Most don't.
Sounds great Jim. Are you rotating the tires every now & then? The reason I ask is I've found the rear wheels tend to go out of balance for me if I don't rotate them often enough.
LOL, Nathan, I have been rotating them ever time Crash changes his oil. Jim Honestly, every 4K miles.
Ahh, I get it now, Crashton posts that he changed the oil, Justa Jim says to self, time to rotate tires.
Today was "Date Night" with the wife... Hit a new fish restaurant... Took the MINI.... My tars rotated over there and back.... My balance didn't change.... I still lean to the right...:arf:
Jim only rotate when I change the Blu ones oil. I have 3 cars & you'll wear your lug bolts out following that schedule.
