Columbus, Ohio – April 1, 2014 In a surprise joint announcement by Nathan Freedenberg (CEO - Motoring Media Group(MMG)) and Robert Brisco (CEO – Internet Brands (IB)) it was announced that the Internet Brands website, North American Motoring, has been acquired by Motoring Media Group. Mr. Brisco said that he is glad to finally be rid of North American Motoring (NAM) with its petty bickering and poor management by the current unpaid staff. He went on to say that in hindsight Internet Brands should not have become involved with MINI owners, for they are certainly a strange lot. Motoring Alliance of North America Announces Official Song! "Ma Na Ma Na Hey Hey" by Steam. (You'll never get this song out of your head!) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsaTElBljOE]Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye - YouTube[/ame]
This was the best part: Mr. Freedenberg planned to acquire MC2 Magazine next, but could not read the contract provided by Barry Brazier, the magazine’s publisher, due to the sheer number of typos, missed words and grammatical mistakes in the proposed contract supplied by MC2.":lol::lol:
In further news, IB brands is making large investments in Afghanistan, North Korea and the Ukraine, citing these as stable future markets with tremendous growth potential. When the NAM staff were asked about the merger, they shook with uncontrollable excitement. "I couldn't take one more 'what's the best oil' or 'would this shift knob make my ass look big thread'", one unpaid staff member wriley noted. Despite their unpaid status, it is felt by many that the NAM staff is still overpaid. "No worries, that's just a bad rumor", another staff member replied. "They love me over at MA. They even are putting my name on the back of a shirt!!!" In fact, it's the strength of recent T-Shirt sales that made Mr. Freedenberg's longstanding dream of acquiring both IB and NAM a reality. With regard to MC2, Mr. Brazier has been working diligently to get his reading level up, which now impressively up to a third grade level. "I relly want MC3 tu bee part uf dis murger," Mr. Brazier graciously tried to write. Gratz Nate--future is looking bright!
For an international flavour, here is this year's BMW April Fool advert: Not as good as the 'tractor beam' from a few years ago that allowed you to lock on to the back of a car in front to save fuel on the highway but, hey, that dog had fun on the photoshoot.
Sooo..... Who's gonna take the plunge and risk banning by posting the news over on that other site? In true form, even thought the ink is dry on the contract and a few pennies have changed hands I still have no access. My legal team from Sioux, Grabbit & Runne are preparing papers as I write this.
