It looks very good with the roof in place.

That's the best look for the origami top model.

I hate to say it but side by side I think I prefer the look of the Fiat version.
-
Too squared off and too much overhang front and rear...then 1.4... Prefer the Mazda, and I'm hearing some good power upgrades too. But to each is own.
-
I've heard of the power upgrades, but I've also heard the transmission is the bottleneck, I guess we'll see.
I'm seriously thinking about the RF, it's drop dead gorgeous, it looks like a 50,000 dollar car with that silver metallic paint scheme in the flesh, depending what happens with the MINI. -

It's personal taste, Fiat went retro, Miata, modern. For me the Miata RF is the nicest look out of any of them. If they do a club version of that, it'll be hard to pass on, living in Wisconsin...
BTW, that pick above is probably the least flattering angle of the Miata, and most flattering of the Fiat... -
Stopped by a local Fiat dealer over the weekend because I had seen that they had gotten 3 Alfa's in earlier that week. The manager I talked to said that all 3 had been pre-orders and were picked up in under 24 hours. They do have 4 or 5 4Cs on the lot that they have marked down by about $5k if anyone is looking.

I guess it is the retro look I like. That being said buy what you like. I know I do.

I like the clean look of the Mazda. The Front of the Fiat is much too busy.

I like the more proportionate size of the Fiat's headlights, but the look of the MX-5.
The Fiat dealer next to my house has yet to get one (that I've seen), but way down south where I picked Grace up, they had one sitting at a multi make EURO dealer... I was going to stop and look, but figured it wasn't such a good idea.

Mazda wouldn't make a real fixed hard top coupe but Fiat might.....
-
Now that is nice looking.

At first I went ballistic when I saw the upcoming Miata retractable fast back. After thinking about it I like the looks a lot but the extra weight caused by having a power retractable targa doesn't make sense to me. I'd just as soon stand outside the car, remove the panel and put it in the trunk or, better yet, behind the driver and passenger seats.
